This summer has been HOT!

Plus add in the mix the poor air quality and high allergies and everyone seems to be a mess this summer.

Aside from skin concerns, the #1 complaint I get from clients is they struggle to drink enough water. Honestly, I struggle with drinking enough water myself. Even though I carry my water bottle everywhere with me, I STILL forget to drink enough water throughout the day.

We all know how important it is to drink water and stay hydrated, yet most of us are dehydrated because we skip this crucial step.

Drinking water is important for our bodies. Water helps us stay hydrated, plus it also flushes toxins from our system.

The good news is that I found a few things that have worked and would love to share them with you!

Here are a few tips for staying hydrated this summer:

Hydration Tip #1: Hydrate by always keeping your water bottle with you

Most of us always have water bottles around the house. Make sure to keep it filled and bring it everywhere with you.

When you’re running errands, make it a habit to take a drink when you first get in your car and right before you get out of your car.

Hydration Tip #2: Hydrate by setting a timer on your phone

We always have our phones with us. Why not use it for good?

Set an alarm on your phone to go off every 30 minutes. When that alarm goes off, take a drink.

Hydration Tip #3: Hydrate by adding flavor to your water

Water can be boring especially if that’s all you drink during the day.

Add a flavoring element, like lemon, lime, orange, cucumber, or strawberries. You can get creative with this step. Change it up every day to keep it exciting!

Sometimes we make things more difficult than they are.

Drinking more water helps your body stay hydrated inside so it feels plump and younger-looking on the outside.

If your skin still feels dehydrated, add in a Hyaluronic serum to help hydrate your skin topically.
