I have been a licensed esthetician since 2003 and owner of Skin Deep since 2010. I’m deeply passionate about the skin and educating clients on how to improve their skin’s health safely and naturally. I continually educate myself to stay current on the most natural, yet effective treatment options.
My specialty is microcurrent therapy.
•I am a single mom of 3, and having my own business allows me to work around my kids’ schedules, which is awesome.

•In 2018, I took control of my health and changed my eating habits and saw positive changes to my overall health and my skin cleared up!
•I’ve learned a lot about how our foods create inflammation in the body. This led me to eat only grass-fed meats, pasture-raised chicken, wild-caught seafood, and lots of veggies!
As a teenager, I rarely had breakouts. It came as a big surprise when I went off birth control to get pregnant that suddenly I was suffering from full-blown adult acne. Thankfully, with each of my pregnancies, my skin cleared up, which I assumed was due to hormones.
After my daughter, Zoe, was born in 2012, I decided to do a detox to lose the last 10 lbs of baby weight. To my surprise, eliminating inflammatory foods from my diet cleared my skin up in less than two weeks!
Like most of us, I was good for a while and stuck to healthy eating habits, then went back to my old ways of eating, which was healthy MOST of the time. When I wasn’t eating well, my skin showed it. I would use the excuse that I’m only human and was here to live my life and enjoy food. Those ugly, huge breakouts and large dark patches of skin would pop up & remind me that I wasn’t as healthy as I told myself.
I learned through my boyfriend Clint, a health coach, that even though we think we are healthy & eating well, many of the “healthy foods” we eat are highly inflammatory. Clint and I changed our lifestyles completely and at the age of 43, my skin has never looked better! It was as simple as cutting out foods that cause inflammation in my body.
My mission is to empower women and men suffering from skin problems to understand that food is the root of all evil and you CAN clear up your skin by making positive changes to your diets. That doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying food; you’ll need to shift so you can FEEL good after eating.
